Adesh University
Adesh University is a private university located in Bathinda, Punjab, India. It was established in July 2012 under the Adesh University Act, 2012 (Punjab Act No. 6 of 2012) as part of the Punjab Private Universities Policy. The university is promoted by the Adesh Foundation, an organization involved in healthcare and professional education since 1995.

Adesh University came into existence in July 2012 via a state legislation notified by the Government of Punjab. The institution was created to expand higher education opportunities in the underdeveloped Malwa region of Punjab and to strengthen healthcare education and research in the area.
