Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College

Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College was established by the Hyderabad Karnataka Education Society which was under the leadership of Sri Mahadevappa Rampure. It was started with a mission to make quality doctors by imparting education to meet the present and changing life expectation of the people. The College hospital started functioning in January 1967 and got recognition from the Medical Council of India in 1972.

The College's Blood bank was established in 1980 and was affiliated to Gulbarga University till the year 1996 and later to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. It has developed an Urban Family Welfare Centre at Rajapur and has also constructed residential accommodation at the Hebbal Community Health Center. There is a beautiful garden with a fountain in the center in the rear section of the college.

The MRMC Admissions are offered for various medical courses in undergraduate and postgraduate. The MBBS courses have admissions to 150 seats which were recognized by the Medical Council of India in 2008. It aims at providing the highest quality of comprehensive healthcare at an affordable cost to the people of the Hyderabad Karnataka Region.
