Eligibility Criteria for BAJMC at LPU

To be eligible for the B.A. (Journalism and Mass Communication) program at LPU, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Qualification: The candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. English should be one of the subjects studied at the higher secondary level.

  • Relaxation: Candidates from North-East states, Sikkim, Defence Personnel, and their dependents, or wards of Kashmiri migrants are eligible for a 5% relaxation in the aggregate marks requirement.

  • English Requirement: In cases where the candidate has not studied English as a subject, the English language requirement may be waived if the candidate has studied in an English-medium school or an equivalent subject.
