Eligibility Criteria for Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (ME) at LPU
- Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10th grade, with Mathematics, Science, and English as core subjects, or an equivalent qualification.
- For candidates who have not studied English as a subject, the requirement may be waived if the qualifying examination was completed in English medium or an equivalent subject.
- Students who have studied Physics instead of Science are also eligible.
- A 5% relaxation in aggregate marks is provided for:
- Candidates from North-East states and Sikkim.
- Defence Personnel and their dependents.
- Wards of Kashmiri Migrants.
