Acharya Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology

Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology is named after a notable politician and educator Narendra deva who was the then vice-chancellor of the University of Lucknow. The University foundation stone was laid by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India late Smt. Indira Gandhi. This is a residential University having the campus divided into academic, administrative, and residential blocks.

Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology was founded on January 15, 1974, by the then Prime Minister of India late Smt. Indira Gandhi. Thereafter from 1975, the government of UP decided and established the main campus of the university at Kumarganj, Faizabad instead of Mashodha. They offer Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Doctorate courses at their University. The NDUAT Admission is done based on the scores got by the students in the entrance exam.

Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology Admissions:

The NDUAT University admits students to various courses through the Combined Agricultural and Technology Entrance Test [CATET]. For 2017-18 a total of 557 students were admitted out of which 345 were for UG, 173 for PG, and 39 for the doctorate program.

Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology Hostel Details:

The NDUAT hostels are spacious and equipped with all modern amenities. There currently 2073 students residing in 19 different hostels out of which 3 are for girls and 1 is for International Students. The hostel's rooms mostly have double or triple sharing. There is a common room that has a TV with cable and a newspaper. The hostel mess is run by the students on a cooperative base. The hostel has a generator for providing 24x7 power and other facilities like volleyball, badminton, and table tennis facilities. The NDUAT Facilities like a library, Sports, medical center are present within the campus.
