Adhiyamaan College of Engineering, Krishnagiri was established in the year 1987 by Adhiyamaan Educational & Research Institution. It is an ISO 9001:2008 certified college. It is spread over 250 acres of land. The college is affiliated to the Anna University.

The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education [AICTE] and University Grant Commission [UGC]. It is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation [NBA] and National Assessment and Accreditation Council [NAAC] as 'A' Grade College.

The college offers quality in the field of Engineering, Architecture, Computer Application, and Management. The college is the first Engineering College to be started in the most backward erstwhile Dharmapuri District of the State of Tamilnadu.

The college was founded to develop the people academically, socially, and economically. It was previously affiliated to the University of Madras. It is situated in Adhiyamaan Educational & Research Institutions Campus, Dr.M.G.R Nagar, Hosur and is near to National Highway NH-7.

• The college is fully equipped with round the clock internet facility with a speed of 200 Mbps, in collaboration with BSNL networks. The node facility is available for the entire campus including the hostels.
• Round the Clock OFC internet connectivity is available for the entire campus including hostels.
• All the Computer Laboratories are connected to the internet through Manageable Switches(VLAN)

Transport:

• The Institution has got a fleet of buses to credit and for the convenience of the day scholars and faculty members. The students wishing to avail of the transport facility will have to obtain a monthly pass by paying a nominal amount. The amount is meager compared to that of the city buses.

Digital Library:

• The Central Library has been built to International Standards. It spread over to an area of 4500 sq. m. with ground plus four floors. The library is equipped with a Reference section it could accommodate around 500 students, a Digital library, Audio-Visual Section, Journal Section, conference room, Research Scholar Section, Newspaper and Magazine Section, and Reprography Section. It has numerous specialized collections of Books, Journals, ASME, ASTM, IEEE-ASPP, Springer, Elsevier, EBSCO Art.
