Anurag University is a private university located in Hyderabad, Telangana. Initially, Anurag Group of Institutions has been offering graduate programs since 1998 which became Anurag University in 2020 under the Telangana State Private Universities Act 2018. The university provides high-quality graduate, postgraduate, and doctoral education in engineering, pharmacy, and management fields.

Anurag University offers 13 Undergraduate, 13 Graduate, and 9 Doctoral programs. The institution is affiliated with the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH).The institution attained autonomous status and has now become a private university.

Anurag University Admission 2024

Anurag University Hyderabad admissions to the existing programs are based on securing valid scores in the State Common Entrance Tests like TSEAMCET / TSPGECET / TSICET or any other entrance test conducted by the Government of Telangana. The admission rules and fee structure would be specified by the university on the official website itself. Anurag University also accepts admissions through Anurag CET, which is a common entrance test of the university

Anurag University B.Tech admissions are based on the eligibility condition that the student secures at least 45% marks in the intermediate examination. Also, the merit ranks in the entrance tests like AIEEE / JEE / TSEMCE are taken into consideration. The regular classes for most of the programs would begin around July 1, 2023.

BTech Eligibility Criteria

• For engineering admissions, the candidates need to secure at least 45% marks in the 12th Standard.
• Also, valid scores in AIEEE / JEE / TSEMCET are considered.
• For admission to B.Pharmacy/BBA, the candidate needs to score a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination.

MTech Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must have passed BTech in a relevant branch with 50% marks.

Ph.D. Admission Eligibility Criteria

• The aspirants with a minimum of 55% marks in Master's Degree in Engineering/Technology or M.Tech. by Research or any other equivalent Degree in a relevant area from a university/ institution recognized by Anurag University are eligible for admissions.
• The candidates who have been qualified either through a national-level test conducted by national-level organizations such as UGC / CSIR / ICAR / ICMR/ DBT/ UGC-NET/ APRCET /TSET/CSIR-NET/ SET-TS/AP /JEST /GATE/ GPAT/ DST-INSPIRE fellowship or Teacher Fellowship applicants or working as Scientists in Government Organizations & Research Labs with five years experience are exempted from PhD.
