Arunachal University of Studies (AUS), established in 2012 by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh, is a state private university located in Namsai. Recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) and empowered to award degrees as per section 22 of the UGC Act 1956, AUS is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) .
