B K Birla Institute of Engineering and Technology

Established in 2007 by the Krishnarpan Charity Trust under the vision of Late Basant Kumar Birla, BKBIET is a distinguished private engineering institution located in Pilani, Rajasthan. Affiliated with Bikaner Technical University (BTU) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the institute is committed to delivering quality technical education and fostering global competencies among its students.

Admission Process

Admissions to the B.Tech programs are primarily through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main). The seat distribution is as follows:​

• 70% for Rajasthan domicile candidates

• 15% for candidates from outside Rajasthan

• 15% under Management Quota ​

Eligibility requires candidates to have completed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or Technical Vocational subjects, securing at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories).

Spanning over 18 acres, BKBIET's campus is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities:​

• Separate hostels for boys and girls with a total capacity of 1000 students

International Collaborations

The BKBIET International Relations Division (BIRD), established in 2011, facilitates global exposure through internships and joint programs. Collaborations include partnerships with universities in France, Switzerland, Portugal, and Thailand. Notably, a Joint Master's Programme is being set up with Polytech Nantes, France.

Placement Opportunities

BKBIET's Training & Placement Cell actively engages with industry leaders to secure employment opportunities for students. The institute has a commendable placement record, with top recruiters such as Infosys, BirlaSoft, HCL, Honeywell, and Siemens. The average median salary offered is INR 3.6 LPA.
