Inspired by Bawa Nihal Singh’s mission to uplift rural Punjab through education, the college was established by Bawa Gurmeet Singh and now continues under the leadership of Smt. Charanjit Kaur Bawa. As an NAAC‑B and NCTE-approved institution affiliated to Panjab University, it aims to produce visionary and socially responsible teachers .
