Bharathiar University, Coimbatore was founded in 2006 in the vibrant city of Erode, Tamil Nadu. It is a State Government institution. The institute is affiliated with Bharathiar University.

Bharathiar University, Coimbatore offers 13 courses, namely, MBA, MCA, B.P.Ed, MSc, MA, M.Ed, M.Com, MSW, B.Voc, M.P.Ed, M.Lib.I.Sc, MJMC, PGD which aim at the holistic development of the students.
