Calcutta University is one of India's oldest institutions, established on 24th January 1857. The University is located in Kolkata, West Bengal. Currently, there are 151 colleges and 21 institutes affiliated with Calcutta University. Calcutta University Admission
Calcutta University admission 2024 offers an extensive list of courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Admission will take place in June and July of 2024, students who are interested in taking admission to the university will have to register online on the university admission portal. The selection process for undergraduate programs is based on merit/scores obtained in the qualifying examination.
Calcutta University Eligibility Criteria

B.Com Eligibility Criteria
An applicant who has passed 10 2 in commerce stream or any equivalent with English subject and from a recognized board.
B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

M.Sc Eligibility Criteria

Calcutta University Cut Off
Calcutta University releases cut off for admissions to the UG and PG courses. Candidates applying for B.Tech courses at university must appear for WBJEE, and candidates applying for MBA may appear for CAT to become eligible. In 2021, the cut off for WBJEE was in the range of 186-552 for B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering, 767-1599 for B.Tech Chemical Engineering, and 507-766 for B.Tech Information and Technology. The merit list for 2022 is yet to be released.
