

The Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ) is a premier central university located in Bandar Sindri, Ajmer district, Rajasthan. Established in 2009 under the Central Universities Act (No. 25 of 2009), it is fully funded by the Government of India. The university aims to provide quality education to all, especially those from humble socio-economic backgrounds.

The university's sprawling 518-acre campus is situated along the Jaipur-Ajmer Expressway (NH-8), approximately 83 km from Jaipur and 40 km from Ajmer. The campus features state-of-the-art academic buildings, ICT-enabled seminar halls, laboratories, and a fully Wi-Fi-enabled environment with 1 GBPS connectivity. Residential facilities include four boys' and four girls' hostels, accommodating around 2,850 students.

The university is accredited with an 'A' grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). In the NIRF Rankings 2023, CURAJ was ranked 151 in the overall category.
