Chhattisgarh Institute of Technology (CIT) is the pioneering engineering college in Rajnandgaon, established in 2004 by the Shri Siddhi Vinayak Trust. The institute offers undergraduate programs in various engineering disciplines and is committed to providing quality technical education.

CIT offers a 4-year Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) program in the following disciplines:

The total seat intake for these programs is 360, with each specialization having a specific number of seats. The institute follows a full-time study mode, and the average annual fee for the B.E. program ranges approximately from ₹2,08,200 to ₹2,77,600.

Admissions & Eligibility

Admissions to the B.E. program are based on merit, with preference given to candidates who have qualified in national or state-level entrance exams such as JEE Main or CG PET. Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, securing at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC and PWD candidates of Chhattisgarh).

CIT has a dedicated Training and Placement Cell that organizes various programs to enhance students' skills and employability. The institute has established collaborations with industries in Bhilai and Urla, providing students with practical exposure and industry experience.
