The College of Engineering Pune (COEP). Originally an autonomous government institute affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University, it has since evolved into COEP Technological University. The institute is committed to addressing contemporary challenges through technological innovation. Admissions for 2024 are open until August 2024. For undergraduate admissions, the college accepts scores from MHT-CET and JEE Main exams. COEP Admission Process 2025

Admissions to COEP are conducted through centralized counseling based on national and state-level entrance exams. Here's a breakdown:

For B.Tech Admission:

College of Engineering Pune Eligibility Criteria

College of Engineering Pune has set up different criteria for admission in different courses. The candidate must fulfill all the requirements for getting admission. Institute has very strict criteria for admission, the basic criteria for some courses are as follows

B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have completed 12th standard with Physics and Mathematics as main subjects and also Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical vocation and with a minimum of 50% aggregate score.
  • Candidates must have a valid MHTCET or JEE- Main score card.

M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have completed B.Tech/ BE with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
  • Candidates must have a valid GATE Score.

Ph.D Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have completed M.Tech with a minimum of 55% aggregate score.
  • Candidates must have appeared for GATE/ SPPU Ph.D Entrance Test (PET).
