Hemchand Yadav Vishwavidyalaya, commonly known as Durg University, is a public state university located in Durg, Chhattisgarh, India. Established in 2015 through state legislation, the university was formed by bifurcating Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur. In 2018, it was renamed in honor of Hemchand Yadav, a prominent political figure in Chhattisgarh.
