FLAME University, Pune – Admission Process 

1. Check Eligibility

Before applying, candidates must ensure they meet the minimum eligibility criteria for their chosen program at FLAME University.

UG (Undergraduate) Programs

For BA (Hons), BSc (Hons), BBA, BBA–Communications Management, BDes

• You must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board.

• Students from any stream (Science / Commerce / Arts) are eligible, depending on the program.

• Minimum marks: As per FLAME University norms (no rigid cut-off; holistic evaluation).

• Admission is based on:

  • FLAME Entrance Aptitude Test (FEAT) OR

  • SAT / ACT scores (optional route)

• For Design (BDes):

  • FLAME Design Aptitude Test (FDAT) or

  • Valid UCEED / NID / NIFT scores (if applicable).

PG (Postgraduate) Programs

For MBA, MBA – Communications Management, MSc (Economics)

• You must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university.

• Minimum marks: As per program requirement.

• Accepted entrance exam scores include:

  • CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, NMAT, GMAT, MH-CET

  • OR FLAME PG Entrance Evaluation (PG-FEAT)

Doctoral Programs (PhD)

• Master’s degree in a relevant discipline with required minimum marks.

• Selection involves:

  • Research proposal evaluation

  • Entrance test (if applicable)

  • Personal interview by research committee
    (Specific criteria vary by department.)

2. Application and Registration

• Visit the FLAME University online admission portal.

• Select the program you wish to apply for.

• Register using:

  • Name

  • Email ID

  • Mobile number

• Create login credentials and access the application form.

• Fill in all personal, academic, and contact details carefully.

3. Upload Required Documents

Upload clear scanned copies of the following documents:

• Class 10th marksheet & certificate

• Class 12th marksheet & certificate

• Graduation marksheets (for PG programs)

• Entrance exam scorecard (FEAT / SAT / CAT / XAT / etc., if applicable)

• Passport-size photograph

• Government-issued identity proof

• Any additional documents required for the selected program

4. Pay the Application Fee

• Pay the non-refundable application fee (₹2,000 approx.) online.

• Payment modes:

  • Debit card

  • Credit card

  • Net banking

  • UPI

• Save the payment confirmation for future reference.

5. Entrance Test / Evaluation Process

Depending on the program applied for:

UG Programs

• Appear for FEAT (FLAME Entrance Aptitude Test)
  OR submit SAT / ACT scores.

• Shortlisted candidates appear for:

  • Written Essay / Statement

  • Personal Interview (Online/Offline)

BDes Programs

• FDAT (Design Aptitude Test)

• Portfolio review (if required)

• Personal interview round

PG Programs (MBA / MSc)

• Evaluation based on:

  • National entrance test scores or PG-FEAT

  • Written assessment

  • Personal interview

PhD Programs

• Research proposal presentation

6. Merit List and Selection

• FLAME University follows a holistic selection process, considering:

• Selected candidates are informed through:

  • Email

  • Admission portal dashboard

7. Offer Letter and Seat Confirmation

• Selected students receive a Provisional Offer Letter.

• Candidates must:

  • Pay the seat confirmation / enrollment fee within the given deadline.

8. Document Verification

• Submit original documents for verification as instructed:
