FM University

Fakir Mohan University was established in 1999 by the Government of Odisha. It strives to provide opportunities to students and faculty. It is a centre of excellence for value and need-based quality education.

The University has the aim to develop qualified and competent manpower who can serve in a better way for the society, nation, and the world as well. The University has achieved more success in a short span of time and provides research, design, and development in various areas of specialization.

Fakir Mohan University Admissionsoffers a wide range of courses in multiple disciplines. The University is functioning from its present campus at Vyasa Vihar. The recent University ranking list has been released by National Institutional Ranking Framework [NIRF] Government of India, and it ranked within the 151-200 rank band.

Fakir Mohan University, Balasore Infrastructure Facilities:

• The University has a centralized computer centre in the Dept. of I & CT. The department maintains the central computing facilities of the University.
• Instrumentation Maintenance Facility Centre provides repair and maintenance of scientific instruments and electronic hardware for the various departments/sections of the University.
• The F.M.University has hostel facilities separately for boys and girls.
• The Library named as Dr. Harekrushna Mahatab Library it has three special galleries exhibiting the personal works/ collections of eminent persons.
• It also acquires books, journals, reports and thesis of national and international repute to build up information services for its users.
• There are Administrative Block, Different Departments, Placement Cell, Canteen, Staff Quarters.

• Fakir Mohan University Placement Cell has opened with seven regular professional /technical courses, the need for a training for students.

• The cell guides the students trends them and also arranged campus interviews.
