Gnanamani College of Technology (GCT), Namakkal, established in 2006, is a private autonomous institution affiliated to Anna University and approved by AICTE. The college has earned accreditation from NAAC with an 'A' grade and several of its departments are NBA-accredited. Spread across 22 acres in a semi-urban setting, GCT emphasizes innovation, entrepreneurship, and industry-integrated learning. With a student strength of over 1,500, the college offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in engineering, technology, and management.

Admission Process & Cut‑Offs 2025

Admission to undergraduate engineering courses is conducted through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) based on 10+2 marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The TNEA general category cut-offs typically range from 180.0 to 85.0, depending on the branch and year.

Postgraduate admissions (MBA, MCA, M.E) are conducted through TANCET or GATE scores. For MBA, a TANCET score of below 40 is generally considered competitive. The college also supports lateral entry for diploma holders into the second year of B.E/B.Tech programmes.
