Government College of Engineering, Aurangabad is an Autonomous Engineering Institute in the Maharashtra State of India. Later on, the college included the extension building that presently houses the Electronics and Telecommunication Department, Computer Science Engineering Department & MCA Department. 

This is one of the best among the top 10 colleges of Maharashtra. The college became an Autonomous Institute of Government of Maharashtra in 2016. The college has also got the Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme grant. The College holds national level and state level competitions around every year. It hosts a National Level Technical Festival, WINGS.
