GKV - Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya

Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya started in the year 1902 by Swami Shraddhanandajiwith Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya aims to provide a value-based education system, teaching love for Ancient Indian Culture, Vedic philosophy, Yoga, and other disciplines. UGC/Government of India fully funds the institution. Admission 2024 is ongoing. Admission to Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya is made through CUET-UG/CUET-PG. The CUET UG results are out. GKV Haridwar has also established Kanya Gurukula Campus to uplift women and empower them by making them powerful. The objective of the institution is to promote a value-based education and inculcate a love for ancient Indian Culture, Yoga, and other discipline instructed by UGC among the students. Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya has been given Deemed to be University by UGC in the year 1962 and in the year 2002, the Vishwavidyalaya completed its 100 years of service.

GKV Admission

GKV Haridwar admission 2024 is ongoing. Admission to the courses BA, B.Sc, B.Com, M.Tech, MA, M.Sc, etc can be done online through the official website of the university and those candidates who are interested to join in the University have to take the CUET exam once they crack the examination they have to appear for an Interview. Those candidates who have secured 50% of marks and above on the entrance are only eligible for the interview.

GKV Eligibility Criteria

Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya Haridwar has established different admission criteria for various courses. To be admitted to the university, students must meet that criterion. The following are the basic requirements for some courses

B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed with a minimum aggregate of 60% in 10+2 with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Maths/ Biology/ Biotechnology or equivalent.
• The candidate has to qualify for Entrance Exams.
• The candidate should have a valid score in CUET.

M.Sc Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have a full-time Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks.
• Candidates must have a valid score in the CUET-PG.

Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate should have passed undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in the desired field with a minimum of 55% marks for reserved category students.
