Government Chengalpattu Medical College and Hospital

Chengalpattu Medical College of Tamil Nadu has a long history that dates back to 1965. It was a District Headquarters Hospital that was later updated to a medical training institute by the Tamil Nadu Government and with the heartful donation of a large area by Vedachalam Mudaliar, the then Municipality Chairperson. Currently, it is part of the Government Chengalpattu Medical College. The institute is affiliated with the Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University and is also recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
