• Library:
  The library of Government College for Women, M.A.Road started functioning in October 1950. The first five books the library acquired were donated by the first Prime Minister of India, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, the great lover of books; Jawaharlal Nehru, went round the college library in 1951.
  The college library mostly serves the students UG as well as PG and teaching community. The ultimate aim being that everybody may enjoy the benefit of adequate service.
• Hostel:
  The College has two hostels situated within the college premises. It accommodates outstation students belonging to different caste, creed and religion The two Hostels are named as Old Hall of Residence and New Hall of Residence, with total accommodation capacity for 250 students . The Convener Hostel Management who is in-charge of the hostel pays personal attention to the welfare of the students physically, intellectually and morally, helping them in the building up of character. There are resident warden to look after the domestic need of the boarders.
• Health Care Centre:
  The centre offers a comprehensive array of educational programs and services to help every student live a healthy lifestyle. Medical care to any student who needs it, including urgent care, counseling for proper nutrition and eating, pharmacy services, and physical therapy.
• EDUSAT:
  Government College for Women , M.A.Road Srinagar joined the elite club of Institutions with facilities of Satellite Based Education by setting up of an Edusat Hub for Kashmir Valley in the College and subsequent establishment of 59 SITes located in various Degree Colleges , DIET's Higher Secondary, Polytechnics and ITIs of Kashmir Valley.The virtual classes with two way audio - video interactive facilities are being conducted and beamed to various institutions located in backward areas like Karnah , Drass and Kargil etc to ensure quality education .
