Government College of Engineering & Research was established in the year 2009 by the Government of Maharashtra. Since its inception, it has been working to spread technical education in the rural parts of Maharashtra in order to produce technically strong manpower by providing state-of-the-art infrastructure.

Currently, the college is offering 6-degree courses in the field of Engineering. The college is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University and also approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. Government College of Engineering and Research Admissions have a decent intake of students in each course every year.

• The admission to BE course takes place through the counseling process.
• Once the seat is confirmed, the candidate must submit all the documents required during document verification and pay the fees through online mode of payment.

•  Separate hostels for Boys and Girls.
• The hostel admissions are merit-based and according to the reservation rules given by the Government of Maharashtra and availability of seats in Hostel.
• It has 1 girls hostel having a capacity of 230 students and two boys hostel.
• Each boys hostel have 48 rooms, 2 recreation halls, and waiting area.
• Girls hostel also have 48 rooms, 3 recreation halls, waiting area and study space.
