Founded in 1956 by the Nankana Sahib Education Trust, Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College (GNDEC) is one of the oldest and most reputed engineering institutions in North India. The college holds Autonomous Status, is UGC-recognized, and approved by AICTE, with NAAC A grade accreditation. GNDEC is affiliated with I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU), Jalandhar.

Admission Process

Admissions to GNDEC are governed by state and national norms. For undergraduate programs, the JEE Main score is mandatory and admissions are conducted through Punjab Technical University (PTU) centralized counselling. M.Tech aspirants must qualify GATE or appear for PG-level counselling. The college also offers lateral entry to diploma holders and direct admission under management quota as per AICTE norms.
