Library

• HITS  has two huge and spacious libraries within the campus.
• The central library is known as Dr KCG Verghese Research and Resource Centre while there are several departmental libraries.
• All students, faculty members and employees can facilitate the library.
• The Library houses a huge collection of books on engineering, science and humanities.
• It houses several books, journals and magazines from every department.
• The institute has around 105832 books and 42262 online journals and magazines.
• HITS has around 4606 back volumes, 3221 project reports and 72 theses and dissertations.

Laboratories

• HITS has well-maintained laboratories.
• It has all the latest technology equipment.

Seminar Halls

• Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science has well-equipped seminar halls and symposiums.
• All National and International level conferences and seminars are held here.
• The institute has 6 air-conditioned seminar halls.
• The Andromeda Lecture Hall is equipped with 650 seats and is a venue for various seminars, conferences, workshops, events, etc. It is located in the Jubilee Block. 
• Padur Hall 1 and Padur Hall 2 located within the Founder’s Block, hold seminars, conferences, project presentations, workshops and training programmes.
• Good Shepherd Hall in the Main Block is where international, and national conferences, guest lectures, symposiums and seminars take place.
• MGR Auditorium named after Tamil Actor Mr M.G. Ramachandran has a total seating capacity of 1500.
• It is a venue for international conferences, workshops, seminars, cultural programs, Christmas celebrations, etc.
• K.S. Moorthy Hall located in the Sciences Block with over 100 seats.
• The open-air theatre is where all cultural events like musical events, band competitions, Republic Day celebrations, etc are hosted.

Hostel Facilities

• Hindustan Institute of Science & Technology provides seven hostel accommodation facilities within the campus.
• It has separate hostel blocks for girls and boys.
• The rooms are well-furnished with all modern amenities.
• HITS hostel rooms are air-conditioned and regular rooms have attached restrooms.
• The hostel has a spacious kitchen and dining room.
• It provides clean, fresh and hygienic food to the students.
• The hostel campus has 24*7 security, dispensary and communication facilities.
• The hostels are managed by the dean, chief warden, hostel manager and wardens both residential and non-residential.
• Games and sports facilities are provided for the pupils.

Transportation

• HITS has around 50 buses operated to all the important city spots benefitting the students and staff.
• The buses are comfortable and air-conditioned.
• While industrial visits and excursions the buses are utilized.

Banking and ATM

• Indian Overseas Bank is located on the campus of HITS.
• It was inaugurated on 28th December 2012.
• The bank provides several services catering for the needs of everyone on campus.
• The ATM is set up at the main gate of the campus.

Clinic

• Doctors and nurses are available 24 hours at the clinic.
• Staff and students can consult for free.
• The observation room is equipped with 4 beds.
• Students are given one free dosage of medicine.
• An ambulance is available 24 hours in case of emergency.
• Equipment like a nebuliser, physiotherapy, oxycare, glucometer, etc is available on campus.

 IT Infrastructure

• The buildings are connected by optical fibres covering a distance of 2000 meters.
• LAN and Internet give connection to all labs, staff rooms and offices.
• Internet connection with different bandwidths is available on the campus.
• Wifi connections are provided in hostels, halls, libraries, canteens, etc.
• All 27 classrooms are equipped with smartboards and a total of 180 projectors are installed throughout the campus.
• UPS is installed within the campus for all important devices.
• Ecoleaide, which is hosted by Amazon Cloud has all modules and features covering all functionalities/ activities of students, teachers, etc.
