IGNTU - Indira Gandhi National Tribal University

IGNTU, Amarkantak has been established by the Parliament of India Act. It came into existence by the Indira Gandhi National Tribal University Act, 2007, and came into action on July 2008. It is a UGC-recognized university accredited by NAAC with a grade of 'B'. IGNTU admission 2022-2023 is ongoing. Admission to the courses BA, B.Sc, MA, M.Sc, etc is made through CUET-UG/CUET-PG. The CUET UG results are out. The admissions and counseling process for CUET-qualified students will begin soon. Moreover, the CUET PG 2022 exam ended on September 11, 2022. 

IGNTU offers a variety of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses. The jurisdiction of the University extends to the whole country and the Central Government fully funds it through the University Grant Commission. Indira Gandhi National Tribal University caters to the tribals’ long cherished dream of higher education. Given the aims and objectives of the university, the major thrust will be to provide more opportunities for the tribes. However, the university is open to all.

IGNTU Admission

IGNTU admission 2022 offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. courses like BA, B.Sc, M.Sc, MA, M.Com, etc. IGNTU applications are open for the academic session 2022. Admissions for various programs are based on CUET exams. 

IGNTU Eligibility Criteria

IGNTU Amarkantak has set up different criteria for admission in different courses. The candidate must fulfill all the requirements for getting admission. The Institute has very strict criteria for admission. The basic criteria for some courses are as follows.

B.A Eligibility Criteria

• The student must have passed 12th from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
• The student must have a valid score in CUET-UG.

M.Sc Eligibility criteria 

• Candidates are required to have a full-time Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks.
• Candidates must have a valid score in the CUET-PG.

Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate should have passed undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in the desired field with a minimum of 55% marks for reserved category students.
