Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech

• Completion of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics

• Valid JEE Main score

• Admission through JoSAA/CSAB counseling

M.Tech

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology (B.E./B.Tech) in a relevant field

• Minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (with up to 10% relaxation for working professionals)

• Valid GATE score

MCA & MBA

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA

• Up to 10% relaxation for working professionals based on experience

Ph.D.

• Master’s degree in a relevant field with first division or equivalent

• Valid GATE/NET score or equivalent

• Shortlisting through written examination and/or interview conducted by respective departments

B.Tech

• Tuition Fee: ₹1,10,000 per semester

• Other Fees: ₹15,000 per semester

Campus & Infrastructure

IIIT Ranchi currently operates from two interim campuses: BSNL ARTTC campus and Khelgaon (NGHC) campus. A permanent campus is under development on a 60-acre site in Sanga, Kanke. The institute provides state-of-the-art laboratories, libraries, and hostel facilities to foster a conducive learning environment.
