• IIM Calcutta releases candidate data for CAT 2024. According to statistics, 3.29 lakh candidates who were eligible registered, but only approximately 2.93 lakh candidates appeared in the test held on November 24, 2024, at the national level.

• IIM Calcutta conducted the CAT 2024 exam in three slots on 24 November 2024. Most of the candidates found the exam to be comparatively easier than previous years. This has led to predictions of a significant rise in the CAT cutoff, causing anxiety among test-takers about their chances of securing admission to top MBA programs at IIMs.

• CAT 2024 admit cards are out for IIMK PGP admission 2025 and can be downloaded from iimcat.ac.in. The CAT 2024 exam is scheduled to be conducted on November 24, 2024.
• Phase 3 Personal interaction for IIMK PGP-BL admission 2025 will be conducted on November 30 and December 1, 2024.
• The GATE 2025 exam will be held on February 01, 02, 15, and 16, 2025, for IIMK PhD admission 2025.

The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM Kozhikode) is the fifth IIM to be founded in India. The institute was established in 1996 as a result of an agreement between the State Government of Kerala and the Government of India. IIM Kozhikode is located on two hillocks in the Kunnamangalam Area of the historic city of Calicut, Kerala, and occupies approximately 112.5 acres of land.

Admission to IIMK courses is based on scores from exams like GMAT/GRE/CAT/GATE/NET-JRF and EMAT. IIMK has international exchange programs with prestigious institutions worldwide and offers appealing placement opportunities.

IIM Kozhikode Courses & Fees

IIM Kozhikode provides two categories of courses- academic and executive. These include a range of management postgraduate, executive, and doctoral programs. 

A PhD program in management, a postgraduate program in finance (PGP-Finance), a postgraduate program in liberal studies & management (PGP-LSM), a postgraduate program in business leadership (PGP-BL), and seven executive programs are among the courses offered by IIM Kozhikode.

IIM Kozhikode Admission 

The IIM Kozhikode acceptance rate is less than 1% for its 353 seats for its PGP program. The institute has many degree and diploma courses and their admission is based on the scores of different entrance exams such as CAT and GMAT. Indian applicants must have valid CAT scores and International applicants need GMAT scores to apply for admission. 

In 1997, there were 42 students in a batch; by 2024, there were over 350. To meet the strong demand from industry, the number of students enrolled in the Post Graduate Programme (PGP) was raised from 480 in 2019. 59% of the students admitted to IIM Kozhikode's flagship PGP are female, setting a record among the country's older IIMs. This shows the constant increase in the admission and demand of IIM graduates in the country

For PGP, PGP-LSM and PGP-Finance, the admission process is the same. For IIM Kozhikode PGP-BL, applicants must also have work experience. IIM Kozhikode admission is a process that has 3 main stages. These include

• Appearing for entrance exam ie CAT/GMAT/GRE or EMAT based on the course.
• Shortlisting based on Aggregate Index Score that calculates scores of entrance exams and academic profile of 10th, 12th and graduation.
• Appearance and performance of candidates in Written Tests and Personal Interview

However, the admission process for doctoral and executive courses may differ. The IIM Kozhikode PhD program is offered in different management subjects like economics, finance, accounting, information management etc. The applicants must have a post-graduation degree or equivalent in relevant subjects with 55% or equivalent from a recognised university. Applicants with a 4-year or 8-semester degree can also apply. Professionals such as CA, and CS with graduation courses are also eligible to apply. Based on the scores of different entrance exams, applicants are called for interviews. These entrance exams differ based on the subject, applicants are interested in such as CAT, GATE, GMAT, GRE, IIMB Test, UGC-NET. 

Similarly, IIM Kozhikode runs many management development programs or MDPs of durations from 1 month to 6 months. The duration of courses varies and the admission to these programs is direct. Applicants must read the information available on the official website carefully when applying for these courses.

For IIM Kozhikode Admissions, applicants must score higher than the predetermined CAT cutoff in each section of the entrance exam paper to gain admission to PGP program. IIM Kozhikode Campus

The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM Kozhikode) has two campuses: the main campus in Kunnamangalam, Kozhikode, and a satellite campus in Infopark, Kochi. Scattered across 112.5 acres, the main campus is situated in Kunnamangalam, Kozhikode. It has LAN/WAN connectivity, guest care areas, and air-conditioned classrooms.

The satellite campus at Kochi was founded in 2013 with an emphasis on executive education and is situated in Infopark, Kochi. It provides middle- and senior-level executives with both full-time and part-time programs.

• There are two auditoriums with capacities of about 250 and 400 seats. Many seminars, conferences, cultural events, student gatherings, and other significant institute events are held there. 
• There are 20 well-designed hostels at the Institute that can house roughly 1400 students with basic requirements such as geysers, water dispensers, and washing machines. Additionally, the majority of the hostels feature air conditioning.
• The hostel grounds have a number of recreational facilities, such as a table tennis room, a badminton court, two basketball courts, a football pitch, a volleyball court and a well-equipped gym.
• Students have a full-fledged mess for their meals and tea. Aside from this, there is an on-campus restaurant too.
• The institute also has a vast library with its website and off-site facilities. 
• In 2012, the business museum was inaugurated on the grounds of IIM Kozhikode. The museums house different theme-based sections such as the ancient, medieval, colonial, pre-independence, post-independence, business sector, public sector, banking sector etc.
• Soon ISRO will also join the museum with an ISRO Pavilion.

IIM Kozhikode Scholarships

IIM Kozhikode offers financial help and scholarships to their most deserving students ensuring that the students do not miss out on the education opportunities. These scholarships are offered by the institute, by the central and state governments and by private organisations.
