• IIM Calcutta releases candidate data for CAT 2024. According to statistics, 3.29 lakh candidates who were eligible registered, but only approximately 2.93 lakh candidates appeared in the test held on November 24, 2024, at the national level.

November 25, 2024

• IIM Calcutta conducted the CAT 2024 exam in three slots on 24 November 2024. Most of the candidates found the exam to be comparatively easier than previous years. This has led to predictions of a significant rise in the CAT cutoff, causing anxiety among test-takers about their chances of securing admission to top MBA programs at IIMs.
• IIM Lucknow has released its admission criteria for MBA in 2025 in alignment with previous years. Admission will be strictly decided on the basis of CAT 2024 (conducted by IIM Calcutta on November 24, 2024), Application Rating Score, and a Personal Interview (PI). This would mean a strict selection procedure for its Postgraduate Programs (PGP) for the 2025-26 batch.
  

• What should you do in the last few minutes before the CAT 2024 exam. Candidates who have got morning slot, can’t do much but wake up early and reach their test centre by 7 am on November 24, 2024. They will have to do last minute revision a night before. But candidates who have got afternoon and forenoon shift can do some las minute preparation.
