About Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK)
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK) is a state university located in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. It was established in 2008 after separating from the erstwhile College of Engineering, Visakhapatnam, which had been part of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad since 1972.
JNTUK has a strong academic presence with 159 affiliated colleges across five districts: East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, and Prakasam. Admission to the B.Tech program at JNTU Kakinada is through the AP EAMCET entrance exam.
