Kanchrapara College Admission

Kanchrapara College admissions 2024 will begin in July. Kanchrapara College offers admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Arts, Science and Commerce. These include BA/BA(Hons), BCom/BCom(Hons), BSc/BSc(Hons) and MA Hindi. The evening shift offers the BCom/BCom(Hons) and BA Bengali, English, Sanskrit, Hindi, History and Political Science. All other courses are conducted on the day shift. Admissions to all these courses are offered based on merit in the qualifying examination.

BA/BA(Hons) Eligibility Criteria

• The student must have passed the higher secondary (10+2) Examination in General conducted by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent examination conducted by another state board/council.
• For an honours degree, the student must have 55% marks in the relevant subject (Humanities).
• OR, the student must have passed the WB Council of Rabindra Open Schooling, or The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) recognised by the Distant Education Bureau(DEB).

BSc/BSc (Hons) Eligibility Criteria

• The student must have passed the higher secondary (10+2) Examination in General conducted by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent examination conducted by another state board/council.
• For an honours degree, the student must have 55% marks in the relevant subject (Science).
• OR, the student must have passed the WB Council of Rabindra Open Schooling or The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) recognised by the Distant Education Bureau(DEB)

MA Eligibility Criteria

• The students must have passed Graduation with 50% marks from a recognised board/college.
