Kishinchand Chellaram College

Kishinchand Chellaram College was established in the year 1954 under the aegis of the Hyderabad (Sind) National Collegiate Board, H(S)NC Board. KC college is affiliated to the University of Mumbai and recognized by Government of Maharashtra. College was awarded permanent affiliation by the University of Mumbai within a record span of two years. It was the second institution that the Management set up in Bombay after it relocated itself in the city, following the aftermath of Partition.

KC Facilities:

Kishinchand Chellaram College provides modern infrastructure facilities that facilitate teaching and learning. KC facilities include a lush green and wifi campus. College infrastructure include multiple number of conference halls, multimedia center, well-defined classroom, a huge auditorium, cool cafeteria, multiple number of different sports room, different number of labs with multiple equipment. The lab has 61 computers and it provides wifi access to bibliographic databases and archives for rapid retrieval of information for dissemination of academic and research material. The internet has 20 MBPS leased line and state-of-the-art hardware and software. A canteen which provides an ideal ambiance for relaxation and rejuvenation is also available on the campus.

College Library is one of the largest libraries in the city having a huge collection of more than 58,000 documents, 30 current journals, and around 60 periodicals. It is fully automated using an integrated library software "Librarian Suite" with various library operations computerized on LAN system. Web-based Online Public Access Catalogue (WEB-OPAC) is accessible to the users by which they can browse the large collection of books in a very short time through the computer database. College has a huge collection of more than 58,000 documents, 30 current journals and around 60 periodicals in the library.
