Kumaun University

Kumaun University was set up in 1973 as a state university spread over an area of 160 acres. The university has three campuses. These campuses are D.S.B. Campus (Nainital), SSJ Campus (Almora), and Campus at Bhimtal. More than 65 affiliated colleges are with Kumaun University including 49 government colleges. Admission 2024 is the final phase for most courses. Admission is given on the basis of merit scores obtained in various entrance exams. The university accepts the scores of CLAT/PGCET/NEET. The university also conducts its own entrance exam for admission to various courses.

Kumaun University offers UG, PG, and PhD courses in various subjects and offers many other courses. The university is recognized by the UGC and accredited with an ‘A’ Grade by the NAAC. The university has established a new centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology to advance academic and technological research and development. Kumaun University Admission 2024

Kumaun University Admission 2024 is in its final phase for most courses. Admission to undergraduate courses is based on merit in the 10+2 examination except for B.Ed and LLB. Access to B.Ed and LLB is based on the entrance examination conducted by the university. Admission to all PG courses is based on the merit of a bachelor's degree.
