Lady Doak College

Lady Doak College, Madurai was founded by Ms Katie Wilcox, an American missionary in 1948, and is a Christian missionary college. LDC, Madurai is the first only women’s college in Madurai. By 1978 the college became autonomous under Madurai Kamaraj University and is one of the earliest autonomous colleges. It offers 2 certificate course, 3 diploma, 3 PG diploma, 24 undergraduate, 15 postgraduate, and 9 M.Phil programs. 6 Departments of LDC, Madurai is recognized as research centres by the Madurai Kamaraj University.
