Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management (LBSIM) was established in 1995to perpetuate the vision and values of Bharat Ratna Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji – India’s 2nd Prime Minister, by his son - Shri Anil Shastri ji, former Union Minister and Chairman, Board of Governors. LBSIM provides Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) courses with six specialization courses for full-time with diligent faculties. LBSIM has been running for over 25+ years by giving value-based education in management for the students. The institute has been recognized by AICTE, the Ministry of Education, and Govt. of India.  LBSIM has been accredited by the NBAand has been a member of AACSB since 2014.

This award is bestowed by The President of India or The Vice President of India at their official residence, to an individual every year who has excelled in his/her vocation.

• Lal Bahadur Shastri Memorial Lecture

This lecture is delivered annually to honor the values, vision, and memory of Bharat Ratna Sh. Lal Bahadur Shastri, who was the 2nd Prime Minister of India.

• Lalita Shastri Debate Competition

This is among India’s most reputed national debate competitions on social issues held annually at LBSIM Delhi campus, in memory of Smt. Lalita Shastri.

LBSIM Courses 

LBSIM offers PGDM and FPM courses for new graduates as well as working executives. LBSIM offers five PGDM courses in specializations named General, Financial Management, Research and Business Analytics, E-Business, and AI and Data Science. Also, an FPM program is offered to the LBSIM students.

LBSIM Course Fee Structure

LBSIM Admission 

LBSIM admissions are open for the PGDM course for the academic batch 2024-26. The seat intake for PGDM (General) is 180 and PGDM (Financial Management) holds 60 seats respectively. The admission for the courses is based on the CAT/XAT/GMAT entrance examinations.
