Loknayak Jai Prakash Institute of Technology (LNJPIT) is a premier government engineering college located in Chhapra, Bihar. Established in 2012 under the Department of Science and Technology, Bihar, the institute aims to provide quality technical education and foster innovation. LNJPIT is affiliated with Bihar Engineering University (BEU), Patna, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). • B.Tech Admissions: Based on JEE Main scores through the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board's Under Graduate Engineering Admission Counselling (UGEAC).

• Lateral Entry: Diploma holders can gain admission into the second year through the BCECE (LE) examination.
