Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc. (Hons.) Food Technology at LPU

The eligibility criteria for admission to the B.Sc. (Hons.) Food Technology program at Lovely Professional University are as follows:

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks.
• The candidate must have studied English, Physics, Chemistry, and either Maths, Biology, Biotechnology, or Food Processing as vocational subjects in their 10+2 education.
• For candidates who have not studied English as a subject, the English requirement may be waived off if they have studied in the English medium for their qualifying examination.
• A relaxation of 5% marks in the aggregate is provided to candidates from the North-East states, Sikkim, Defence Personnel, and their Dependents, as well as Wards of Kashmiri Migrants.

In case a candidate does not meet the requirements for a regular B.Sc. (Hons.) degree, they can exit after completing three years with a B.Sc. degree, subject to fulfilling the applicable university policies.
