Loyola College,[LCV] Vettavalam

Loyola College,[LCV] Vettavalam was founded in the academic year 2009-2010. This group of institutions' main goal is to provide education for rural and needy students who are unable to afford an education. They also prioritize the students of the first generation, the Dalits and women, to empower them. On 4 June 2009, the Government of Tamil Nadu approved to start of the Loyola College of Arts and Science as a Self-Financing Co-Education College and affiliate Loyola College with the Thiruvalluvar University of Vellore.

In a Christian environment, the college offers education. It primarily accepts Catholic Christians. However, regardless of their caste and religion, it also admits other students. The college strives to educate young men and women in all walks of life to be leaders and serve society with justice, truth, and love. This was the preparation, which is supposed to produce individuals for the overall growth and well-being of our country's development. It also aims to uplift talented people from rural and disadvantaged backgrounds. The aim is to build men and women with compassion, dedication, and integrity and serve others. LCV Admission is merit-based.

Loyola College BCA Program

BCA's full form is Computer Application Bachelor. It is a professional undergraduate program, mainly focused on the principles of computer application. The course provides excellent knowledge of important computer science and networking fields. For BCA, the course duration is three years. BCA adheres and consists of six semesters to a wise semester pattern. After completing the BCA course, students have different job opportunities in various fields such as Software Development, IT, Banks, ITES, Government departments, Education Sector, etc.

Loyola College B.Sc Program

B.Sc is a three-year curriculum aimed at learners with a strong interest in areas of science. It provides in-depth theoretical and practical expertise in various areas of research. Students can learn the necessary skills and knowledge to operate in a dynamic world as a researcher, teacher, lecturer, consultant, counselor, etc.

The college has a fully equipped and well-maintained library. 

• There are approximately 14000 books in the library. 
• Around 25 magazines and journals have been published by the library. 
• The library has six employees working there. 
• The library's operating hours are from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

For the desired course, applicants who meet the eligibility requirements will apply. The application process and the payment of fees should be carried out before the last date given. 

• Application for admission can be obtained from the college office and should be made in the prescribed form.
• The instructions given in the form should be read carefully by candidates who are willing to seek admission. 
• Incomplete completion of the form is refused. 
• Photocopy of Qualification examination.
• Photocopy of community certificate
• Photocopy of Baptism Certificate for Catholics.
• Candidates can apply for the application form in person or send it by post.
• The college will communicate only with those candidates who are selected.
• After the selection of the application, an interview will be held before admitting the student.
