Madras Medical College was set up in 1835, it is the third oldest medical college in India. Mary Ann Dacomb Scharlieb was the first woman in the whole world to be admitted to Medical College in 1875. Madras Medical College was affiliated with the University of Madras till 1988. Madras Medical College Eligibility Criteria

Madras Medical College has set different eligibility criteria for different courses in which the students have to qualify to get admission to the college. The eligibility criteria for the courses are mentioned below

M.B.B.S Eligibility Criteria 

• The candidates must pass in 10+2 with 70% Marks in relevant subjects.
