M.Tech. in VLSI Design and Embedded Systems

Program Overview

The Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in VLSI Design and Embedded Systems at Mahindra University is a two-year postgraduate program aimed at providing advanced knowledge and hands-on experience in the design, simulation, and implementation of Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) circuits and embedded computing systems. The program equips students with the skills required for careers in semiconductor design, embedded hardware/software development, system-level integration, research, and academia.

Program Duration

  • 2 years (4 semesters)

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for admission to the M.Tech. in VLSI Design and Embedded Systems, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology, typically in:

    • Electronics and Communication Engineering

    • Electrical Engineering

    • Computer Science Engineering

    • Instrumentation Engineering

  • Minimum 60% aggregate marks or equivalent grade in the qualifying degree

  • Final-year undergraduate students may apply, subject to fulfillment of eligibility requirements at the time of admission

Admission Process

Admission to the program is generally based on:

  • GATE score followed by a personal interview, or

  • University-conducted entrance test and interview for candidates without a valid GATE score

Shortlisted candidates are selected on the basis of academic performance, entrance score (if applicable), and interview performance.
