Mizoram University, Aizawl campus rests on a plot of 978.1988 acres with its lush greenery and scenic hills, leased by the Government of Mizoram at Tanhril. It is equipped with modern amenities for holistic development. Some of the highlighting features of the Mizoram University infrastructure are given below.

Library:Mizoram University library occupies 4,496.62 square meters and houses 1,12,719 books and other reading materials, complemented by e-resources obtained via INFLIBNET. The library building, surrounded by trees, is wheelchair accessible and has ramps. It has a 100 KW stand-alone Solar PV Power Plant for backup power to ensure uninterrupted power delivery. It also provides lending and reprographic services. In every academic session, orientation programs for newly accepted students from all the academic departments are held.

Central Instrumentation Laboratory:Mizoram University campus has a specialised research facility that houses 15 instruments and various basic facilities. It was established to provide a central facility with the latest analytical instruments for research in the physical, environmental, biological, allied, and multidisciplinary sciences. In addition, it supports multidisciplinary research in all of Mizoram University's Science Schools and School of Social Sciences (in the subject of material research).

Canteen:Mizoram University has a canteen that serves fresh and hygienic food at reasonable prices. It offers a wide range of cuisines. 

Hostel: Mizoram University hostel offers accommodation for boys and girls. Outstation students are given more preference. The seats are allotted on a first-come, first-served basis. The hostel is well furnished and can accommodate more than 500 students.
