Modern Education Society's Nowrosjee Wadia College

Nowrosjee Wadia College, Pune is one of the oldest colleges in Pune established back in July 21st, 1932, by the Modern Education Society. The college was established to provide education to children in the eastern part of Pune, which was devoid of any educational facilities at the period. Now around 7000 students from different parts of India and abroad are studying across the campus under different departments. 

The Nowrosjee Wadia College courses include Arts and Science courses. The college provides education to students ranging from higher secondary to postgraduate. The Physics, Geology, Geography and Chemistry students have the opportunity to do research at Nowrosjee Wadia College.

Wadia College, Pune has separate ladies and gents hostel within the campus. Both hostels are of 7floors and accommodate 336 residents each. The hostel is common for all the institution on the campus. The mess hall is provided in the facility building on the campus and there is a separate mess for ladies and gents.  The ladies and gents hostel have similar facilities. The facilities of the hostel includes parking for vehicles, access to college ground and gymnasium, security surveillance camera in the corridors, round the clock security, 2 lifts, hot water bath in all seasons, availability of doctor on all days for 3hours,free medicines, if student is busy with practicals or lectures the in house mess service will provide the food. There is an attached bathroom in every room and every room is provided with lights and fans. Each student will be given a bed, chair, study table, wardrobe and charging socket. There is availability of guest rooms and sick rooms in both the hostels.
