Mohamed Sathak Engineering College, Ramanathapuram was established in 1984. It was the first self-financing college that has been set up in the state of Tamil Nadu. The college has been providing engineering courses which are not common, such as Aeronautical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Architecture, Marine Engineering. The college has a spacious and well-lit campus that provides labs with a well-equipped apparatus. Playgrounds and a gym are also available to encourage students to extend their co-curricular activities.
