Yes, MUHS (Maharashtra University of Health Sciences) does not offer the MBBS course directly as a teaching university; instead, it functions as an affiliating body overseeing medical education across Maharashtra. The MBBS degree is offered by various government and private medical colleges affiliated with MUHS, and the university regulates their curriculum, examinations, and academic standards. So, if you’re looking to pursue MBBS under MUHS, you need to apply to one of its affiliated colleges through NEET UG counselling. MUHS ensures quality medical education and grants the final MBBS degree once all university criteria are fulfilled.

The fee structure of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) varies depending on the course and affiliated college. For undergraduate programs like MBBS, fees typically range from 5 to 7 lakhs per year in private colleges, while government colleges charge around ₹1 lakh or less annually. For postgraduate medical courses (MD/MS), fees can go up to 10-15 lakhs per year in private institutions. BDS, BAMS, BHMS, Nursing, and Allied Health Sciences programs have relatively lower fees, ranging from 50,000 to ₹2 lakhs annually. It's important to note that MUHS itself doesn't collect tuition fees — these are set by the affiliated colleges and regulated by the Fee Regulatory Authority (FRA) Maharashtra. Students are advised to check with their chosen college for the latest and exact fee details.

The passing marks for MUHS MBBS (Maharashtra University of Health Sciences) exams are 50% in both theory and practical components separately. This means students must secure a minimum of 50% in written theory exams and 50% in practical/clinical exams to be considered as passed in each subject. It's important to note that MUHS follows strict evaluation standards, and failing in either component leads to a supplementary exam. Students should also maintain the required attendance and internal assessment scores, as these are crucial for eligibility to appear in university exams.
