NIMRA Institute of Engineering and Technology

​NIMRA Institute of Engineering and Technology (NIET), established in 2007 by the Nimra Educational Society, is a private institution located in Yedugundlapadu Village, near Ongole in Prakasam District, Andhra Pradesh. Affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTUK), and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), NIET offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

Undergraduate Programs (B.Tech):

• Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) – 90 seats

• Information Technology (IT) – 60 seats

• Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) – 60 seats

• Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) – 60 seats

• Mechanical Engineering (ME) – 60 seats

• Civil Engineering – 60 seats

Postgraduate Programs:

• Master of Business Administration (MBA): A 2-year full-time program with an intake of 60 students. The total tuition fee for the MBA program is INR 70,000.

• Master of Computer Applications (MCA): A 3-year full-time program with an intake of 60 students.

• Master of Technology (M.Tech): Specializations include Computer Science & Engineering, Power Systems, and VLSI System Design, each with an intake of 18 students.

Admission Criteria

• MBA: Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks. Admissions are based on scores obtained in the APICET examination.

• MCA: Candidates should have a relevant undergraduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks and a valid APICET score.

• M.Tech: Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology with a minimum of 50% marks and a valid AP PGECET score.
