NIT Nagaland

NIT Nagaland, established in 2010, is an Institute of National Importance in Chümoukedima near Dimapur, Nagaland. It offers premier technical education in engineering, science, and humanities.

The mission includes fostering research, innovation, internationalization, transparent governance, and contributing to local socio-economic development.

The institute is currently led by Director Prof. (Dr.) A. Elayaperumal.

After two initial years at NIT Silchar, the institute moved to its permanent campus in Chümoukedima in September 2012.

NIT Nagaland provides separate boys’ and girls’ hostels, sports center, library, data center, bank, ATM, medical, post office and 24×7 utilities including hot water in winters.
