Step 1: Choose Your Undergrad Path Wisely

NITIE doesn’t accept students right after 12th.
You must first complete an engineering degree (in any discipline—Mechanical, Electrical, CS, Civil, etc.).

So if you’re in Class 12 now, your first goal is:

Get into a good engineering college (preferably IITs, NITs, or state tech universities).

This is your foundation. NITIE only takes engineers. No B.Com. No BBA. No BA. Just engineers.

Step 2: Crack the CAT Exam

Once you're in the final year of your B.Tech or have graduated, you need to take the CAT exam—short for Common Admission Test.

This exam tests your:

• Quantitative Aptitude

• Verbal Ability
