Admission to the B.A. LL.B. program is through the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). For LL.M., candidates must qualify CLAT-PG. Admissions to MCLIS are conducted based on an entrance test conducted by the university. Ph.D. admissions are merit-based and include a written test and interview.

Graduate degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks
Must qualify entrance test by NLIU
For Ph.D.
Master’s degree in Law or related field with minimum 55% marks (50% for reserved categories)
