NMAM Institute of Technology

Established in 1986 by Justice K. S. Hegde, NMAM Institute of Technology (NMAMIT) is located in Nitte, Karnataka. Since 2022, it has been a constituent college of Nitte Deemed to be University. The institute offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in engineering and technology.

Eligibility & Selection:

• BTech: Pass in Class 12 or equivalent with at least 50% marks in Physics, Mathematics, and one of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science/Electronics/Information Technology, with English as one of the languages.

• MTech, MBA, MCA: Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).

• Admissions are based on the Nitte University Common Admission Test (NUCAT).

Application Process:

• Candidates must apply online through the university portal.

• Selection is based on NUCAT scores and academic merit.

Scholarships:

• Merit-based scholarships are available based on Class 12 PCM scores:

  • 90% and above: ₹1,85,000 per year

  • 85%–90%: ₹2,10,000 per year

  • 80%–85%: ₹2,35,000 per year
